- 1 Cup = 200ml
- Wheat flour – 1 cup
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Salt – ¼ tsp
- Buttermilk – 1 ¼ cup
- Egg – 2
- Melted butter – 3 tbsp
- Vanilla essence – ¼ tsp
- Chocolate sauce and berries – for serving
- In a deep bowl, combine together all the dry ingredients.
- In another bowl, combine together all the wet ingredients and combine well with a hand whisk. Add this to the dry ingredients and combine to make a smooth batter.
- Heat a non stick pan over low flame, pour a ladle of batter to it and let it cook for a minute or two till it turns golden brown. Flip it to the other side and cook for another minute and remove from flame. Serve hot topped with chocolate sauce and berries.
Note : *Makes about 12 – 14 pancakes. *To make the chocolate sauce, microwave together ¼ cup cooking chocolate, ¼ cup cream and ½ tsp unsalted butter for less than a minute. Combine well and the chocolate sauce is ready to use. *Any other chocolate spread of your choice can be used instead of chocolate sauce.
