Chicken Nuggets

Chicken Nuggets - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
  1. Chicken mince – 250 gram
  2. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
  3. Red chili powder – ¼ tsp
  4. Black pepper powder – 1 tsp
  5. Onion powder – ½ tsp
  6. Garlic powder – ½ tsp
  7. Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
  8. Lemon juice – ½ tsp
  9. Butter – 2 tbsp
  10. All purpose flour – ½ cup
  11. Egg – 2
  12. Bread crumbs – 1 ½ - 2 cup
  13. Salt – to taste
  14. Oil – for deep frying
  1. In a deep bowl, combine together chicken mince, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, black pepper powder, onion powder, garlic powder, coriander leaves, lemon juice, melted butter and salt.
  2. Make about 18 – 20 balls out of it, take one by one, press lightly to make the shape of a nugget, coat it with all purpose flour, then dip in egg and coat it well with bread crumbs. Again dip in egg and then in bread crumbs.
  3. Keep it in in the freezer for about 30 minutes (make sure that each chicken ball is kept with little space in between).
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium flame and fry these frozen chicken nuggets till golden brown. Serve hot with mayonnaise or tomato ketchup.

Note : * Makes about 18 - 20 chicken nuggets.*If chicken mince is not available, grind 250 gram boneless chicken breast pieces in a food processor and use. *Make sure that the chicken mince doesn’t have any water content in it. *Make sure that the oil is not too hot, or else the snack will easily get browned outside and uncooked inside. *This snack can be baked instead of deep frying. *This can be frozen for later use.
