Kashmiri Lamb Chops

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Mutton chops – 6 – 8 pieces
- Red chili powder – 2 tsp
- Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
- Cumin powder – ½ tsp
- Fennel powder – ½ tsp
- Crushed ginger – 1 tbsp
- Cardamom – 2 (crushed)
- Cloves - 2
- Saffron – a pinch
- Milk – 1 ½ cup
- Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Mint leaves – 1 tbsp
- Water – 1 ½ cup
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Method
- In a pan, take cleaned mutton pieces with 1 ½ cup water and salt for about 10 minutes. Drain the excess water from the pan.
- Add red chili powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, fennel powder, crushed ginger, cardamom, cloves, saffron, milk (ingredients from 2 – 10) and little salt to the mutton and cook covered over low flame till the all the water content gets dried up.
- Add garam masala powder, coriander leaves and mint leaves to this and combine. Add oil to this and cook for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.
