Garlic Shrimp Salad/ Garlic Prawn Salad

- 1 Cup = 200ml
For the marinade
Ingredients
- Prawns (cleaned) – 200 gram
- Garlic – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Soya sauce – 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder – ¾ tsp
- Corn flour – 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Salt – to taste
- Butter – 3 tbsp (for frying)
Method
- Marinate the cleaned prawns with garlic, soya sauce, black pepper powder corn flour and salt.
- Heat butter in a pan and fry the marinated prawns just till cooked. Add the coriander leaves, combine and remove from flame.
Ingredients
- Lettuce – 2 ½ cup (chopped)
- Tomato – 1 (finely chopped)
- Red bell pepper/ red capsicum – ½ cup (finely chopped)
- Black olives – 3 tbsp (thinly sliced removing the seed)
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Black pepper (crushed) – 1 tsp
- Olive oil – 2 tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- Combine all the above ingredients in a deep bowl. Move it to a serving plate and top it with the cooked prawns. Serve.
Note : Serves about 3 - 4 people.
