Methi Mushroom

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Mushroom (cleaned and sliced) - 2 cup
- Fresh methi leaves - 1 cup (cleaned and chopped)
- Cardamom - 2
- Cinnamon - 1 small piece
- Onion - 2 (chopped)
- Green chili - 2
- Ginger - garlic (crushed) - 1 tbsp
- Tomato - 2
- Chili pwd - 1 ½ tsp
- Turmeric pwd - ½ tsp
- Coriander pwd - 1 tsp
- Pepper pwd - ¼ tsp
- Cumin pwd - ¼ tsp
- Curd - ½ cup
- Garam masala pwd - ¼ tsp
- Coriander leaves - to garnish
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add cardamom and cinnamon and saute for a while. Add the chopped onion to this and saute till soft.
- To this add green chili and crushed ginger - garlic and saute till the raw smell disappears. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook till soft.
- Add chili pwd, turmeric pwd, coriander pwd ,pepper pwd, cumin pwd and enough salt to this and saute till oil appears on top. Add the sliced mushroom and chopped methi leaves to this and cook for 2 - 3 minutes. Add curd to this and mix well
- To this add ½ cup of water and cook till done. Sprinkle garam masala pwd to this and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
