Coconut Chutney

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Coconut - 1 ½ cup
- Green chili - 2 or 3
- Ginger - 2 small pieces
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Soaked urad daal - 1 tbsp (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Mustard seeds - ½ tsp
- Curry leaves - 6 - 8 leaves
- Oil - 2 tbsp
Method
- Grind well coconut with green chili, ginger, garlic, soaked urad daal and salt adding enough warm water. Add more water if required to get the correct consistency.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and let it splutter. To this add curry leaves and remove from flame. Add this to the ground coconut mixture and serve.
