Spicy Beef Roast

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Beef - ½ kg (cut it to cubes and clean)
- Red chili pwd - 1 ½ tsp
- Turmeric pwd - ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves - little
- Salt - to taste
Method
- Take all the above ingredients in a pressure cooker, add enough water and cook till done (for about 4 - 5 whistles). Open the pressure cooker when cooled, put it on high flame and cook till the all the water content is absorbed. Keep it aside.

- Cardamom - 2
- Clove - 2
- Whole black pepper corns - ½ tsp
- Onion - 2, sliced
- Green chili - 2, chopped
- Crushed ginger garlic - 1 tsp
- Red chili pwd - ½ tsp
- Turmeric pwd - ¼ tsp
- Black Pepper pwd - ½ - 1 tsp ( more or less according to your taste)
- Garam masala pwd - a pinch
- Curry leaves
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
- Heat oil in a pan, add cardamom, cloves and whole black pepper corns and let it splutter. Add sliced onion and green chili to this and saute till soft. Add crushed ginger - garlic and saute till raw smell disappears.
- To this add red chili pwd, turmeric pwd, pepper pwd and salt and saute till the raw smell disappear and oil appears on top.
- Add the cooked beef to this and mix well. Sprinkle a pinch of garam masala pwd and curry leaves. Cook for about 5 minutes and remove from flame. Serve hot.
