Oats Kheer - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
  1. Milk - ½ Ltr
  2. Oats - 4 heaped table spoon
  3. Sugar - 5 heaped table spoon (according to taste)
  4. Salt - a pinch
  5. Ghee - 2 tsp
  6. Cashew - 1 tbsp
  7. Raisins - 1 tbsp
  8. Pistachio - to garnish
  1. Soak oats in the milk for 25 minutes
  2. Add sugar and salt into the soaked oats and milk and boil it
  3. After boiling, reduce the flame and cook in low flame till it becomes thick. Stir frequently while cooking. Keep it aside.
  4. toast raisins and cashew lightly in ghee in a separate pan and add this along with the ghee in to oats kheer
  5. Garnish with chopped pistachio
