Omelette Sandwich - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
  1. Egg - 2
  2. Onion - 1, small (chopped)
  3. Pepper pwd - ½ tsp
  4. Chili pwd - ¼tsp
  5. Milk - 2 tbsp
  6. Salt - to taste
  7. Tomato slices - 2
  8. Cucumber slices - 2
  9. Tomato sauce - to spread
  10. Cheese slices - 2
  11. Bread slices - 4
  12. Butter - for toasting
  13. Oil - 2 tsp
  1. Mix egg, chopped onion, pepper pwd, chili pwd, milk and salt in a bowl.
  2. Heat very little oil in a pan, pour the egg mixture to it and prepare the omelet turning the sides. Remove from fire, cut it to four pieces and keep it aside.
  3. Take a slice of bread, spread little tomato sauce, then a piece of prepared omelette, then a slice of tomato and cucumber, again a slice of omelette and then top it with a slice of cheese. Do the same with the remaining bread slices.
  4. Heat little butter in a pan and toast the prepared sandwich till golden and crisp on both sides. Cut the toasted bread diagonally and serve hot.
