Pepper Chicken Roast

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Chicken - ½ kg
- Crushed pepper - 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Cumin powder - ½ tsp
- Onion, medium - 3 , sliced
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
- Green chili - 3, finely chopped
- Tomato - 2, chopped
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Pepper - ½ tsp (if required, according to your taste)
- Red chili powder - ¼ tspo
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 ½ tsp
- Coriander leaves - little
- Salt - to taste
- Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
- Marinate the chicken with crushed pepper, turmeric powder, cumin powder, lemon juice and salt and keep it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken till done and it turns golden brown. Remove the chicken pieces.
- In the same oil, saute the sliced onion till soft and changes the colour. To this add the ginger garlic paste and green chili and saute till the raw smell disappears.
- To this add the chopped tomatoes and saute till soft. Add coriander powder, pepper powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and saute well till the raw smell disappears.
- Add the fried chicken to this and top it with coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes and remove from flame. Serve hot.
