Chicken Do Pyaza

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Chicken - 1 kg
- Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
- Chili pwd - 1 tbsp
- Ginger (crushed) - 1 tsp
- Garlic (crushed) - 1 tsp
- Onion - 2
- Tomato - 2 (boil it in water as whole and remove the skin, then grind it in the mixer with out adding water. This is d tomato puree)
- Curd - ½ cup
- Coriander pwd - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric pwd - ½ tsp
- Cumin pwd - 1 tsp
- Garam masala pwd - 1 tsp
- Green chili - 2
- Kasoori methi - 1 tbsp
- Coriander leaves
- Fresh cream - ¼ cup
- Salt - to taste
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
Method
- Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste (no. 2) chili powder and salt. Keep it aside.
- In a pan, add ghee. When hot add crushed ginger garlic (no. 4 and no. 5) and saute for few seconds. To this add chopped onion and little salt and saute till soft and slightly changes the color.
- Add the tomato puree and cook for about 3 - 4 minutes.
- Add curd to it and mix well. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, green chili and kasoori methi and cook till the raw smell disappears.
- Add the marinated chicken to it and cook till done. To this add coriander leaves and fresh cream and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
