Crispy Chicken Pops - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
  1. Boneless chicken breast – 300 gram, cut to small cubes
  2. Red chili powder – 1 ½ tsp
  3. Black pepper powder – 1 tsp+1 tsp
  4. Cumin powder – ½ tsp
  5. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  6. Garlic – 2 cloves, chopped finely
  7. Butter - 1 tbsp (at room temperature)
  8. All purpose flour – ¾ cup
  9. Corn flour – 1 ½ tbsp
  10. Red chili flakes – 1 tsp
  11. Oregano – 1 tsp
  12. Egg – 1
  13. Salt – to taste
  14. Oil – for deep frying
Method
  1. In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with red chili powder, 1 tsp black pepper powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, finely chopped garlic and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine together combine together, all purpose flour, 1 tsp black pepper powder, corn flour, red chili flakes, oregano and little salt.
  3. Dip the marinated chicken pieces in egg and coat it with the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium flame and fry the chicken pieces till golden and crispy. Serve hot with tomato ketchup and mayonnaise.
