Healthy Steamed Chicken

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Chicken – 500 gram (preferably thighs or drum sticks)
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
- Crushed ginger garlic – 2 tsp
- Red chili flakes – 1 ½ tsp
- Oregano – 1 tsp
- Dried basil – 1 tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- Marinate the chicken pieces with all the ingredients for an hour in the refrigerator.
- Heat a steamer with enough water and keep it ready. Place the marinated chicken pieces in aluminum foil and cover it nicely. Place this in the steamer and cook for about 45 – 50 minutes. Serve hot over a bed of salad.
