Healthy Steamed Chicken - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
  1. Chicken – 500 gram (preferably thighs or drum sticks)
  2. Red chili powder – 1 tsp
  3. Black pepper powder – 2 tsp
  4. Crushed ginger garlic – 2 tsp
  5. Red chili flakes – 1 ½ tsp
  6. Oregano – 1 tsp
  7. Dried basil – 1 tsp
  8. Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  9. Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  10. Salt – to taste
Method
  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with all the ingredients for an hour in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat a steamer with enough water and keep it ready. Place the marinated chicken pieces in aluminum foil and cover it nicely. Place this in the steamer and cook for about 45 – 50 minutes. Serve hot over a bed of salad.
