- 1 Cup = 200ml
- Cucumber – 1 (big)
- Yogurt (curd) – 1 cup
- Ginger (chopped very finely) – ½ tsp
- Cumin powder – ¼ tsp
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Peel the cucumber and grate it or chop it finely. Squeeze out the excess water from this, add little salt and keep it aside for about 10 minutes.
- In another bowl stir well the yogurt till creamy. To this add chopped ginger, cumin powder, lemon juice, coriander leaves and a pinch of salt and mix well. Add the grated cucumber to this, combine well. Serve immediately or serve cooled.
