Chilli Paneer

- 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
- Paneer/ cottage cheese – 200 gram (soak in hot water for 20 minutes and drain water)
- All purpose flour – 3 tbsp
- Corn flour – 3 tbsp
- Black pepper powder – 1 ½ tsp
- Soya sauce – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Water – as required
- Oil – ¼ cup (for frying)
Method
- Combine together all purpose flour, corn flour, black pepper powder and salt and combine well. Add soy sauce and little water and make a thin batter. Add the paneer cubes to it and combine well.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated paneer cubes till golden. Remove it from the pan and keep it aside.

- Ginger – garlic (chopped) – 2 tap
- Green chili – 2 (chopped)
- Onion – 2 (diced)
- Capsicum – 1 (diced) (use different coloured capsicum to get it colourful)
- Red chili powder – 2 tsp
- Soya sauce – 1 tsp
- Red chili sauce – 1 tbsp
- Tomato ketchup – 1 tbsp
- Spring onion – 1 tbsp
- Sugar – ½ tsp
- Salt – to taste
Method
- In the same oil in the pan (in which the paneer cubes are fried, add more oil if required), add chopped ginger garlic and saute for few seconds. Add diced and onion, capsicum and green chili and saute over high flame for 3 – 4 minutes.
- Add red chili powder and salt and saute till oil appears on top. Add soya sauce, red chili sauce, tomato ketchup and sugar and combine well.
- Add the fried paneer cubes and combine well. Cook for another 2 minutes, add the spring onion and remove from flame. Serve hot.
