Garlic Chicken Macaroni

Garlic Chicken Macaroni - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
For the marinade
Ingredients
  1. Boneless chicken - ½ kg (cut to thin strips)
  2. Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  3. Garlic paste - 1 ½ tsp
  4. All purpose flour - 2 tbsp
  5. Pepper powder - 1 ½ tsp
  6. Corn flour - 1 tbsp
  7. Egg - 1
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Oil - for deep frying
Method
  1. Marinate the chicken pieces with the above ingredients adding very little water and refrigerate for about 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces on medium flame till golden brown. Keep it aside
For the macaroni mix
Ingredients
  1. Uncooked macaroni - 2 cup (cook as per instruction on the package)
  2. Garlic - 3 cloves (chopped)
  3. Onion - 1 (chopped)
  4. Capsicum - 1 (chopped)
  5. Mixed vegetables (frozen) - 1 ½ cup
  6. Green chili - 1 (chopped)
  7. Pepper powder - 1 tsp
  8. Soy sauce - ½ tsp
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan, add the chopped garlic and saute for few seconds. Add chopped onion, capsicum and enough salt and saute for about 2 - 3 minutes.
  2. Add the frozen vegetables and green chili and cook for about 4 - 5 minutes on low flame. Add pepper powder and soy sauce and combine well.
  3. Add the fried chicken pieces and macaroni to this and mix till well combined. Heat it on low flame for about 6 - 8 minutes. Serve hot.

Note : you can use cooked fresh vegetables instead of frozen vegetables
