Chilli Fish Fried Rice With Egg - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
  1. Fish fillet - 750 gm (cut it to small cubes)
  2. Chilli pwd - 1 tsp
  3. Turmeric pwd - ¼ tsp
  4. Garlic - 2 cloves (crushed)
  5. Salt - to taste
Method
  1. Marinate the fish with the above ingredients for about 20 minutes and fry it in oil (do not over fry it, just fry it till cooked). Keep it aside.
Ingredients
  1. Garlic - 3 cloves (crushed)
  2. Spring onion - 2 tbsp
  3. Carrot - 1 (diced)
  4. Capsicum - 1 (diced)
  5. Pepper pwd - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
  6. Soy sauce - 1 tsp + 1 tsp
  7. Chilli sauce - 3 tbsp
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Egg - 3 + green chili - 1 + pepper - 1 tsp + salt - to taste
  10. Oil - as required
Method
  1. Heat oil in a pan and add crushed garlic and spring onion and saute for few seconds.
  2. To this add carrot and capsicum and saute for 2 - 3 minutes on high flame. Reduce the flame and add 1 tsp pepper pwd to it and saute for another 1 minute.
  3. Add 1 tsp soy sauce and chilli sauce to it and mix well. Add the fried fish to it and mix well.
  4. Mix egg, green chili and salt. In another pan add little oil, add the egg mixture and scramble it. Add the pepper pwd and mix well. Add it to the prepared fish mixture and mix well.

  1. Basmati rice - 3 cup
  2. Boiling water - 4 ½ cup
  3. Ghee - 3 tbsp
Method
  1. Heat another pan, add ghee to it. Add the basmati rice to it and fry it for about 3- 4 minutes. Add the boiling water and salt to it and cook till done stirring at regular intervals.
  2. Mix the prepared fish mix to the cooked rice and mix well. Add the remaining 1 tsp pepper pwd and 1 tsp soy sauce to it and mix well. Heat it for about 5 minutes on low flame. Serve hot.
