Fried Chicken Masala

Fried Chicken Masala - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
  1. Chicken - ½ kg
  2. Onion - 3, medium (finely sliced)
  3. Green chili - 4, chopped
  4. Ginger - 1 ½ tsp
  5. Garlic - 1 ½ tsp
  6. Turmeric pwd - ½ tsp
  7. Chili pwd - 2 tsp
  8. Salt - to taste
  9. Curry leaf - 8 - 10 leaves
  10. Coriander leaf - 1 tbsp
  11. Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
  1. Cook the chicken in a pressure cooker with sliced onion, green chili, ginger, garlic, turmeric pwd and enough salt and very little water (less than ¼ cup).
  2. After chicken is cooked, open the pressure cooker and dry out the excess water in it, if any, on high flame.
  3. Heat oil in another pan, add chili powder and curry leaf and saute for few seconds (for 10 - 15 seconds). Add the cooked chicken masala to the oil and fry till nice smell appear. Top it with coriander leaves and serve hot.
