Chicken Chilly Roast - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
For Marination
Ingredients
  1. Chicken - 1 kg
  2. Pepper - 2 tsp
  3. Chilly pwd - 1 tsp
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Turmeric pwd - 1/2 tsp
Method
  1. Marinate chicken with ingredients given above (for 1 hr)
Ingredients
  1. Green chilly - 5
  2. Garlic - 6 cloves
  3. Onion - 2
  4. Ginger - 2 tbsp
  5. Tomato - 3, chopped
  6. Onion - 2, thinly sliced
  7. Curry leaves - few
  8. Soya sauce - 1 tbsp
  9. Coriander leaves - few
  10. Pepper - 1tsp
  11. Oil - as required
  12. Salt - To taste
Method
  1. Grind ingredients from 1-4.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, saute onion till it turns golden brown. Remove onion from oil & keep it aside.
  3. In the same oil fry marinated chicken till it turns golden brown. Make sure to cover the pan with a lid while frying so that the chicken will become soft and remove from flame.
  4. In another pan add 2-3 tbsp oil, saute ground mixture (ingredients 1-4), curry leaves, tomatoes and salt.
  5. Add fried chicken, sauted onion (from step 2), soya sauce, pepper & saute for five minutes and remove from flame.
  6. Top it with coriander leaves
