Pepper Chicken Roast

Pepper Chicken Roast - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
  1. Chicken - ½ kg
  2. Crushed pepper - 2 tsp
  3. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  4. Cumin powder - ½ tsp
  5. Onion, medium - 3 , sliced
  6. Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
  7. Green chili - 3, finely chopped
  8. Tomato - 2, chopped
  9. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  10. Pepper - ½ tsp (if required, according to your taste)
  11. Red chili powder - ¼ tspo
  12. Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  13. Lemon juice - 1 ½ tsp
  14. Coriander leaves - little
  15. Salt - to taste
  16. Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
  1. Marinate the chicken with crushed pepper, turmeric powder, cumin powder, lemon juice and salt and keep it in the refrigerator for about an hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken till done and it turns golden brown. Remove the chicken pieces.
  3. In the same oil, saute the sliced onion till soft and changes the colour. To this add the ginger garlic paste and green chili and saute till the raw smell disappears.
  4. To this add the chopped tomatoes and saute till soft. Add coriander powder, pepper powder, chili powder, turmeric powder and salt and saute well till the raw smell disappears.
  5. Add the fried chicken to this and top it with coriander leaves and mix well. Cook for another 5 minutes and remove from flame. Serve hot.
