Chicken Fried Rice

Chicken Fried Rice - sanaa's recipe
  1. 1 Cup = 200ml
Ingredients
  1. Basmati rice - 3 cup
  2. Water - 4 ½ cup
  3. Salt - to taste
  4. Oil - 2 tbsp
Method
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan, add the washed and drained basmati rice and saute for a minute adding enough salt. Pour boiling water to it and cook till done. Keep it aside.
Ingredients
  1. Boneless chicken breast - ½ kg (cut it to cubes or strips)
  2. Ginger - garlic paste - 1 tsp
  3. Soy sauce - ¾ tsp
  4. Pepper - ½ tsp
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Oil - 2 tbsp
Method
  1. Mix all the above ingredients except oil.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces lightly just till half cooked keep it aside.
Ingredients
  1. Onion - 2 , sliced
  2. Frozen vegetables (mixed) - 1 cup
  3. Crushed garlic - ½ tsp
  4. Pepper pwd - 2 tsp
  5. Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  6. Egg - 2 + pepper pwd - ½ tsp + salt - tp taste
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Oil - 3 tbsp
Method
  1. Heat oil in a deep pan, add the sliced onions and saute till it changes the colour. To this add the frozen vegetables and cook on low flame for about 5 - 8 minutes.
  2. Add the cooked chicken pieces, crushed garlic and enough salt to this and cook till the chicken pieces are done and changes the colour slightly.
  3. Add the cooked rice to this and sprinkle soy sauce and pepper pwd to it Stir fry the rice on low flame till well combined.
  4. Beat the egg with pepper pwd and a pinch of salt. Heat very little oil in a pan and add the beaten egg to it. Scramble the egg till done and add it to the fried rice. Heat it on low flame for about 6 - 8 minutes. Serve hot.
